Hansika Motwani Biography
Hansika Motwani is an Indian actress and entrepreneur, born on August 9, 1991 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She started her career as a child actor in the Hindi TV serial Shaka Laka Boom Boom (2001) where she played the role of Karuna/Shona. She made her debut in the Telugu film industry with Desamuduru (2007) and won the Best Debut Actress award at the 55th Filmfare Awards South. She has acted in several Tamil and Telugu films, including Kantri (2008), Mappillai (2011), and Aranmanai (2014).
She won the Best Child Artist of the Year award for her role in the Hindi TV serial Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand (2003). In addition, she won the South Indian International Movie Award for Best Actress for her performance in the Tamil horror-comedy film Aranmanai (2014).
Apart from acting, Hansika Motwani is also an entrepreneur. She launched her own production company called Hansika Motwani Productions in 2020.
