“Sky Force” is an upcoming historical action thriller starring Akshay Kumar and directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik under Maddock Films, and Jyoti Deshpande under Jio Studios. It is set to release on January 24, 2025, just before Republic Day. The movie is inspired by India’s first and deadliest airstrike on Pakistan’s Sargodha airbase during the Indo-Pakistani air war of 1965. Akshay Kumar plays the role of Wing Commander K.O. Ahuja, a fictionalized version of O.P Taneja VrC, while Veer Pahariya makes his acting debut as T. Vijaya, a fictionalized version of Ajjamada Boppayya Devayya MVC. Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur also feature in pivotal roles. The film promises a gripping narrative filled with high-octane air combat sequences, emotional moments, and a patriotic fervor.
